It has not been an easy ride for me to learn what I needed to in order to make it in this fast moving and ever changing business. Not only does the technology you are using change continuously but the techniques you have spent months learning and mastering are now outdated and you are now expected to get your mind around something altogether new. And, that is not always easy.

Along the way, however, I have learned that there are some basic steps you need to follow which I will call the ABC’s of earning money on the web — my term Web Cash!

Research is the first step to any successful business. Some of the things you should always bear in mind are find out what others doing that is leading to success. If they are succeeding then they most certainly are doing something right. Can you duplicate this — most assuredly! Anyone can if you arm yourself with knowledge and remember that you must walk before you can run. Write down you questions and re-read everything always asking questions. In the course of your research you should seek out the advice of some of the top internet marketing experts and see what they are doing, find the marketing products that not only fit your budget (there is a lot of free stuff out there — you just have to look) but that meet your needs, and then see if there is any software that you should purchase and install on your computer to make your work easier.

Now that you have done your research and have a basic understanding of how web cash can be earned, you need to focus on selecting a domain name and host server. Again there are a lot of companies that want your business and are willing to host your domain and even help you select your domain name, but the bottom line is what can you afford to pay at this time and does the company have your best interest in mind or only their bottom line! So be careful when choosing, ask around and see what other people are doing. Again, if it works for them and they are successful then chances are it is the right way to go. Also, it is a good idea to remember that it takes money to make money but that doesn`t mean you have to be millionaire to become one. A modest investment now at the outset can reap tremendous rewards down the road. Give it a try!

Now, perhaps the most important of all is selecting a product that you can sell. You ask, where do I find these products — have you heard of affiliate marketing, if not Google the topic and do some more research. There are a lot of affiliate programs out there and they all profess to be the best with the top dollar programs. But again it comes down to research. I would recommend that you find one at first and stick with that affiliate network, such as Clickbank, at least until you see that you are making money.

If this all sounds too easy to make money on the internet I will not say that you are wrong because there is a lot of time and hard work involved, but if you want to work from home and at the leisure of your own pace then this is a business well worth taking the time to investigate.
